Synopsis of Town Commission Meeting

May1, 2002

 

Mayor Castro called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m.  The invocation was provided by Mayor Castro followed by Vice Mayor Balius leading the Pledge of Allegiance.

In attendance were Mayor Castro, Vice Mayor Balius, Commissioners, Longtin, Otterson, and Garretson. Also present were Town Manager Jason Nunemaker, Town Attorney Betty Resch and Town Clerk Carol Simpkins.

General Public Comment:

Diane Munroe, 722 Hawthorne Drive, Lake Park spoke.

  • Motion to celebrate Fourth of July on the July 4 was passed 4 to1.
  • Item 11  Buena Vista Case
  • Town Manager Nunemaker gave an update and an executive session was scheduled for May 15, 2022 at 8:30 pm at 535 Park Avenue.
  • Item 12  Attorney Workshop
  • A workshop was set for May 22, 2022 at 7:30 pm at 535 Park Avenue and a Special Call Meeting was set for May 28, 2022 at 7:30 pm at 535 Park Avenue.
