To strive to deliver convenient and superior service to the elected officials, town staff and the public. To strive to meet the needs of customers, fostering participation and involvement in local government, through the establishment of clear procedures and responsive staff.
The Town Clerk's Office mission is to serve. We serve the elected officials, Town staff and most importantly the public. Service is provided in many different forms. We protect and preserve official city records and documents such as original ordinances, resolutions, minutes, contracts and agreements. We disseminate information concerning legislative decisions and policy issues. We facilitate the distribution of information and we also administer municipal elections. The Clerk administers the Oath of Office and maintains the Town Seal.
THE BUSINESS OF THE CLERK�S OFFICE
The Town Clerk maintains all documents of official reports, including the minutes of all commission and board meetings. The Clerk is the Chief Records Custodian.
All record maintenance is coordinated through the Clerk�s office.
The office is responsible for all codification and recording of ordinances resolutions and legal documents.
The Town Clerk serves as Municipal Supervisor of Elections for the Town of Lake Park.
The Clerk administers oaths and provides notorial services.
